The 9-5 Struggle

✨ The 9-5 struggle

When you believe your gift and talents are not good enough, you abandon them and settle for a 9-5 that makes you miserable, but all the while, your heart is yearning to do your own thing.

Most people in the creative space deal with this struggle because perhaps they believe they can not make a significant living from their craft. But to have a purpose and be fulfilled with what you do has everything to do with how you make someone else’s life easy and better than how much you can earn. When you are living your purpose and helping others, the money will automatically come in.

So if you are in the creative space, what can you do to bring inspiration to other people?

How can you put a smile on someone’s face?

When you are thinking of ways to use your talents and gift, the most important question to ask is how is my work going to make someone else’s life easy, then you go ahead with it.

My focus is on people whose gifts are in the arts because they often believe they can’t make an impact with their craft, or worse yet, other people’s comment about their gifts causes them to stop working on it - but I want to tell you to pick your talents back up, and work at it.

Some talents in the art and creative space include

Music

Painting

Sculpting

Dancing

Singing

Literature

Drawing

Filmmaking

Graphic design

Crafts

If you want to stop the 9-5 grind, it is imperative to see what’s inside you and begin to develop it, and use it for the greater good.
